Gaza (Quds News Network)- Resistance forces have discovered Israeli spy
devices planted among the tents of displaced Palestinians in southern Gaza,
according to a security source from the resistance-affiliated platform,
Al-Hares.

The source confirmed that Israeli intelligence had disguised the
surveillance equipment to blend into the environment. The devices were
camouflaged as natural objects, including fake rocks, making them difficult
to detect.

A senior officer in the resistance’s security division, speaking to
Al-Hares, suggested that Israeli intelligence used quadcopter drones to
plant these spy devices during periods of low activity in the displacement
camps. The officer warned displaced persons not to tamper with suspicious
objects and urged them to immediately report any unusual findings to
security officials.

The resistance-affiliated platform also advised Palestinians to remain
vigilant and to inspect their surroundings regularly. They emphasized the
importance of checking tents, homes, rooftops, and surrounding areas for
suspicious objects that may be used for surveillance.

This incident follows a recent warning from Gaza’s Ministry of Interior and
National Security, which cautioned residents against sharing personal
information over the phone with individuals claiming to represent
charitable or relief organizations. The ministry warned that Israeli
intelligence has been using these tactics to gather detailed information
about the locations of Palestinian homes and families.

According to a statement released last week, the ministry highlighted that
several Israeli airstrikes on Palestinian homes were facilitated by
intelligence gathered through these deceptive phone calls. Impersonating
relief organizations, Israeli operatives posed as aid workers to extract
sensitive information, leading to deadly strikes that caused multiple
casualties.

The ministry reiterated that any legitimate collection of data by aid
organizations should only be conducted through face-to-face meetings at
their known offices, not via phone calls or remote communication.
Palestinians are advised not to provide personal details over the phone,
even if the caller claims to represent a government agency or well-known
charity.

Additionally, the ministry called on local media outlets, radio stations,
and social media influencers to raise awareness about these espionage
tactics and to educate the public on how to protect themselves from such
threats.
