- Ibrahim al-Moussawi, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in
the Lebanese Parliament, during a previous interview with Al Mayadeen
US envoy Amos Hochstein is openly discussing amendments to Resolution 1701,
Ibrahim al-Moussawi, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the
Lebanese Parliament, told *Al Mayadeen* on Monday.
According to al-Moussawi, Hezbollah is focused on the battlefield, while
the negotiations are entrusted to Speaker Nabih Berri, who delivered the
appropriate message to the US envoy

.
He said that what Berri stated regarding the priority of a ceasefire is a
fundamental principle, recalling what the Speaker said, "All's well that
ends well."
The Lebanese MP pointed out that the battles is still in its early stages,
adding that the "[Israeli] enemy is not in a position of triumph."
Earlier on Monday, *Axios* reported, citing US and Israeli officials, that
the Israeli occupation government submitted a document to the US Department
last week outlining its conditions for a ceasefire

to end the aggression on Lebanon and enable the return of displaced
civilians.
The document was delivered by Israeli Minister for Strategic Affairs, Ron
Dermer, on Thursday, ahead of Hochstein's visit to Beirut on Monday.
Israeli officials indicated that the document reflects key principles
discussed with the Israeli Ministry of Security and the Israeli occupation
forces, emphasizing what "Israel" demands in any diplomatic solution to end
the war.
One of the demands includes Israeli forces' engagement along the border to
ensure "active enforcement" that prevents the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon
from rebuilding military infrastructure in southern Lebanon near the
border, an Israeli official told *Axios*.
Another demand is for "Israel" to have the freedom to operate in Lebanese
airspace, which would constitute a blatant violation of Lebanon's
sovereignty.
These two demands contradict UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which
mandates that the Lebanese Armed Forces and the UN Interim Force in Lebanon
(UNIFIL) enforce a ceasefire between "Israel" and Hezbollah.
Coming days will reveal more of Hezbollah's capabilities
The strength of the Resistance fighters is sufficient evidence of
Hezbollah's capabilities, al-Moussawi told *Al Mayadeen *on Monday*.*
He indicated that the barrages of rockets launched from Lebanon
reflects the level of control the resistance has and its ability to reach
its targets, adding that "Israel" is not in a position to impose diktats.
"Israel" will not be allowed to impose its conditions on Hezbollah or
Lebanon, he made it clear.
Al-Moussawi suggested that the coming days will reveal more of the Islamic
Resistance's capabilities, which will play a key role in reshaping the
balance of power.
According to the Lebanese MP, "Israel" is in shock because the
assassinations targeting the resistance would have incapacitated any other
organization.
He added that "Israel" will be even more shocked by the Resistance's
capabilities, strategic planning, patience, and the way it approaches its
objectives with precise timing.
Those betting on "Israel's" victory or the weakening of Hezbollah will soon
realize that the Lebanese Resistance is stronger and more steadfast than
ever, al-Moussawi underscored.
He also warned that anyone acting as informants for the Israeli enemy will
face disappointment.
Displaced people remain confident in victory
In a related context, Lebanese MP Ali Fayyad told *Al Mayadeen* that the
outcomes of the government's plan to assist the displaced have yet to
materialize on the ground.
Fayyad also expressed his deep gratitude for the humanitarian, religious,
and moral stance taken by the Sisters of Charity in areas hosting displaced
people.
Additionally, Lebanese MP Amin Sherri told *Al Mayadeen* that the displaced
individuals have taken a proactive political stance and remain confident in
victory.
