The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation
army continues to target the health system in all governorates of the Gaza
Strip.

In a press conference, delivered by Director General of Field Hospitals Dr.
Marwan Al-Hams; the Ministry further indicated that it destroyed dozens of
hospitals and medical centers, turning them out of service.

Al-Hams further noted that the Israeli occupation “deliberately” targets
medical staff, indicating that it “has executed more than 1,000 doctors,
nurses, and health cadres so far.”

He pointed out that the occupation army also targeted and destroyed Abu
Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah Governorate, noting that Abu Yousef
Hospital provided health and medical services to 300,000 people.

“(The hospital) provided health services during the genocide war to one and
a half million displaced people and citizens before the Israeli invasion of
Rafah Governorate.”

In this regard, Al-Hams called on the international community to take a
“serious stand” to restore and protect the health sector.

The Ministry of Health indicated that the Israeli army targeted over the
past few hours the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip
“directly and without any reason”.
