[News] Palestine Action Strikes Twice This Week

*This week, Palestine Action struck at two separate events where 
merchants of death attempted to disguise their complicity in Palestinian 
genocide.*

The first was at Europe's biggest drone expo, 'DroneX' in ExCeL London. 
Dave Drewitt, representing Thales, was scheduled to give a speech on 
'safe skies'. Quite ironic, considering Thales produce military drones 
in collaboration with Israel's largest weapons manufacturer and even 
co-own a factory with them in Leicester.

Actionists attended the event and a couple minutes in to Drewitt's 
propaganda, they took to the stage to deliver their own speech on 
Thales' criminal activities and complicity in apartheid.

For 'National Manufacturing Day', Teledyne e2v, manufacturer of bomb 
detonators planned to open their doors to students for recruitment, so 
Palestine Action shut them with blood red paint.

Teledyne are the largest listed exporters of weaponry from Britain to 
apartheid Israel. By spraying red paint over the front of their factory, 
students applying to join Teledyne would have been quickly made aware 
that a job in this industry leaves you with 'blood on your hands'.

*The action was an embarrassment for the firm, who despite their 
efforts, had no students apart from actionists turn up to their open day!*

  *The Arconic Trial*

After taking part in an action which involved occupying the roof of 
Arconic's factory in Birmingham on the 4th anniversary of the Grenfell 
fire, an actionist will stand trial. Arconic supply Israeli fighter jet 
materials and knowingly provided lethal flammable cladding for the 
Grenfell tower. Whilst fighting charges of 'criminal damage', the 
actionist will fight to prove Arconic is guilty, not Palestine Action!

  *The #Rafael4 Trial*

Four activists will be on trial after a rooftop occupation of Israeli 
weapons factory Rafael, in Newcastle upon Tyne. 75 years after the Nakba 
began, two actionists scaled the roof of the factory and dismantled the 
site. Two others were arrested, allegedly in connection to the action, 
on conspiracy charges. The four will now fight in court to prove they 
are not guilty — the only guilty party is Israel's weapons factory.
