[News] Palestine Action Scotland take down Leonardo's Edinburgh factory

Suppliers of targeting systems for Israeli aircraft dismantled by 
actionists

This morning, at 5AM, actionists from Palestine Action Scotland stormed 
the factory of Leonardo UK, based at 2 Crewe Road North, Edinburgh EH5 
2XS. The group evaded guards and made it into the double-fenced, high 
security site, and immediately set to work: dismantling electricals 
systems, windows, air vents and more, and covering the inside and 
outside of the premises in signature red paint.

This red paint marks the site in a symbol of the Palestinian blood spilt 
by Leonardo products. Leonardo supplies Israel with /Aermacchi 
M-346/ aircraft, and provides laser targetting systems for 
/Apachi/ helicopters and /F-35//​//​//​/ stealth fighter jets, both used 
by the Israeli Occupation Forces to launch deadly assaults on Gaza.
Leonardo also recently merged with Israeli defence company RADA 
Electronic Industries, and are cementing their place as a key player in 
Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. The actionists will maintain 
their occupation of the roof of the factory for as long as possible, 
sending a clear message: companies complicit in Israel's 
business-of-bloodshed, you are not safe in Scotland!
Just this week in Palestine, Israeli Occupation Forces killed four 
Palestinians in the West Bank, including a Omar Lufti Khumour, a 14 year 
old boy, murdered in the Dheisha refugee camp in Bethlehem. Omar was the 
fourth Palestinian child murdered in 2023 by the Zionist 
settler-colonial regime.
We've taken on Thales, and now we've taken on Leonardo. Any company 
supplying Israel should be well aware by now that Scotland is not a safe 
place for them to conduct their deadly trade. If they assist the ethnic 
cleansing of Palestine, know that we'll come and shut them down
