>From the beginning of the current year until the end of last October, the
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed 15 Palestinian children and detained
or jailed 1,149 others.

Most of those detained children were released later, but there are still
160 of them being held in three jails — Ramon, Damon and Megiddo, according
to a statement released by the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) on the
World Children’s Day, November 20.

Two-thirds of those children were exposed to maltreatment and different
forms of psychological and physical torture during and after their arrest,
PPS said.
