VICTORY IN ROUND #1
ISRAELI SHIP
HIT BY
MASS PICKET

700-1000 PICKETS AT THREE GATES AT 5:30 A.M.
KEEP DOCKWORKERS FROM REPORTING TO UNLOAD SHIP

ILWU members refused to cross picketline - citing "health & safety"
provisions of their contract. Management demanded "instant
arbitration." The arbitrator took a look at the picketlines at each
gate to the SSA Terminal and ruled that ILWU members were justified
in refusing to cross. They were sent home WITH FULL PAY.

[]

ROUND #2: DEMONSTRATORS WILL
RETURN TO THE DOCKS AT 4:00 PM
TO GREET THE AFTERNOON SHIFT
AND ASK THEM NOT TO CROSS.

PLEASE JOIN THIS HISTORY-MAKING BOYCOTT ACTION.

Celebrate Father's Day by standing up for human rights as an example of the
Power of Solidarity!

Some who came in the a.m. cannot come back this afternoon. Will you
take their place so that this protest is EVEN LARGER than the morning's???

    * Boycott Israeli Ships and Goods!
