[News] Black History Month Special on "In Your Ear", KPFA, 94.1 fm, Feb. 2, 4-6pm

A tribute to Black History Month (Part I) will air on
"In Your Ear", Saturday, February 2nd, from 4-6pm on
KPFA, 94.1fm.  Music and voices of resistance and
revolution from the African-American experience will
include Archie Shepp, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Paul
Robeson, Max Roach, Abbey Lincoln, and Nina Simone.  A
newly released cd of Robeson speeches and
interviews("Words Like Freedom"), produced by San
Francisco's Freedom Archives, will be featured.
Produced by Art Sato, the tribute concludes with Part
II on February 23rd.
