Thursday evening, November 15, 7 PM at the Southern CA Library,
6120 S Vermont (between Slauson and Gage).
Ray Boudreaux and Hank Jones, two of the SF Eight, will be speaking.
Sadiki Bakari of Nappy Tongues will do spoken word.
A special street theater skit on countering "Thanksgiving" will be performed.
Sister Somayah, former member of the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense,
survivor of the LAPD attack on the Panther offices, has asked to speak and
dedicate a song to the SF Eight. The Black Riders Liberation Party
will be there.
A presentation about the police frame-up of LA activist Kahllid Al-Alim,
and an appeal for funds for his case, will be made.
"Legacy of Torture" video will be shown.
Plans will be finalized for a demonstration to free the Eight on the date
of their next court appearance, Monday Dec. 3.
