Greetings CDHR,
This is Troy Nkrumah of the National Hip Hop Political 
Convention.  Our Phoenix Arizona Chapter will be holding a benefit 
fundraiser for you all in late Oct or early Nov.  We are trying to 
finalize the dates now.  We plan on holding a daytime screening and 
discussion about the Legacy of Torture, then in the evening Hip Hop 
show featuring Dead Prez and several local artists.  This will be a 
two city event, with the first being in Tuscon, Arizona and the 
second day being in Phoenix, Arizona.  We have got the go ahead from 
the rap group Dead Prez and are just trying to finalize the venue 
situation and some sponsors.

Anyway, i just wanted to inform you of this and then get from you 
whatever info we need from you all regarding this event... There is 
plenty of time, and when we lock in the date i will send you that 
information and we can go from there.

Hope all is as well as it can be in these troubled times... we are 
just trying to do our part.
Oh also, please look at the attached documents, they are our flyers 
for the 2008 National Hip Hop Political Convention which will take 
place in August of 2008.  We figured that since we are putting out 
over 25,000 Save the Date flyers.. we might as well put some links to 
stuff that people can get involved with in the mean time.. i mean it 
would be a waste to put out that many flyers without sending people 
to some direct action or campaign.  Anyway check it out at the bottom 
of this page or as attachment, however it come connected to this 
email, its not as clear in the email but the actual print flyers your 
website comes in clear and readable.
